Due to the relative success of our live game day video found here, we thought we’d try our take on FIFA by playing the same match relative to our upcoming match in the A-League.
Our next one is against the Wellington Phoenix and Nick has volunteered his time to guinea pig this FIFA video.
We were sold on the SkyDeck at Spotless Stadium for the match against Perth Glory, albeit not sold on the game, but it was nice to be out yelling and having a bevvy at the SkyDeck bar (more can be seen of our ATB live reactions.) here. We also got to have a chat with Fox Sports’ Adam Peacock and our very own midfield man Roly Bonevacia, (who knows when to shoot… you’ll hear why).
The view was good, the game wasn’t. The weather was good, the attendance wasn’t.
Apart from that, there was still a fair bit to cover and Turner, Tats and Nick were at the helm of this one.

With a double win up the coast over the weekend (Y-League champions *cough cough*…we done a win) aginst the Mariners and Melbourne City the Wanderers return home with a much needed 3 points and a trophy for the cabinet.
This leaves us chasing another 3 much needed points against the Nix on Sunday in our long awaiting “ketchup game”.
A win will help us maintain our position in the top 6 whilst keeping distance between the chasing pack and with an all-sorts Wellington coming to town.
Nick was also in all sorts with his voice out of action, but Tatiyana and Turner came up solid.

If the week leading up to Sunday was to be any indication of the game, it would have been dull and boring, but with the sunshine brought a bright outcome to the end of the weekend as we finally, finally, won a home game at Spotless brushing aside the Nix.
Some ATB members have been MIA since our win, but Nick and Tats weren’t left alone as our very own very good plus one from over the bridge came to assist.

The two joints that got smoked in Melbourne over the last week have been the talk of the media and although some thought ‘weed-on’t deserve this kind of shabby treatment’, others decided to shoot the a-league down in a blaze of glory.
The Wanderers were sloth-like against the Phoenix, getting salad and salt mixed up, along with not knowing where the goals were, and couldn’t play well, not even 4-20 minutes. Especially when passing to the Dutchy on the right hand side.
