The hangover from the derby included a 4-0 and a 2-0 loss to Urawa and Perth respectively. Needless to say, the joy after our first win in Homebush was short lived, and we get to thinking about what we, as fans and consumers of this product, expect from the club we support.
With a tough game against Shanghai and then returning to play bottom placed Adelaide, it could be a long couple of months leading to the end of the season – unless things change for the better.

Seeing the Wanderers win on Friday made it a happier day than Shannon Casper’s birthday, but in particular, it was a certain Dutchman who may have kick started his season.

Well, you win some, you lose… most – We beat one Melbourne team and then, despite actually playing reasonably well, lost against the other one. We saw glimpses of the kind of play that can win games in style, but it could be too little too late for this season.
In positive news, the youth and fringe players got a run and they all did us proud. A huge episode this week as two members of the RBB’s band, La Banda, join us to share their opinions on all the on and off the pitch happenings, which they drum into us, and are generally bass’d on their experiences in the RBB. Having been one of the cymbals of the active supporter group since day 1, they try not to repinique themselves as they recall how they formed, how the chants come together, and why they, for some reason, love Tom-Tomi Juric.
Also on the show……………………………………………….. thats right – the silent protest. We delve into the why, the who, what, when, the where and the how, as we were all grabbing our hair and tearing it out wondering what the hell was going on.
