813 – Derby Thrashing & Babbel Bashing

No, we’re not going to rag on Markus, quite the contrary. However some in the football world in the A-League have been bashing him figuratively over the last few weeks.

The Wanderwomen thrash Sydney FC by five (Sydney is red and black after all thus far), and sit close on the ladder to leaders City and quick rising star Mina joins us again for a look at the W-League.

The rest of the crew are back for our airing of grievances and discuss some talking points.

This is a merry around the bloc.

721 – Allegedly

This week’s episode allegedly features the whole crew and we allegedly discuss back to back wins WSW allegedly had. We also answer some questions that allegedly were sent to us. Also, did you know that Western Sydney Wanderers won the Asian Champions League in 2014, allegedly? Apparently it’s an alleged unknown fact.

S05E24: Pleading For Fifth

A fairly dull draw secured our spot in this years finals series so we look at how Popa’s famous rotation policy may or may not be in full effect.

We also consider the fact that there may be one more Sydney Derby left this season, discuss the upcoming visit from Arsenal (minus all the good players) and Nova talks about (and is probably still talking about) his feelings on the 6 team finals series. Toilet seat, indeed.

S04E30: Premature Roarjaculation

While one fan’s streak of seeing her team lose at away games continued, so too did the Wanderers streak of winning semi finals, as they were involved in one of the most entertaining games in A-League history.
We now head to our third grand final in four years to try and get our hands on the most valuable toilet seat in the country for the first time.

S03E10: No Money, Mo’ Problems

Well, the Wanderers lost two games in the last week, and to top it off, the players are having issues with the clubs owners about their bonuses for playing in the Club World Cup… That’s right, the Wanderers are playing in the Club World Cup! We start off against a Mexican team, once we Cruz through them, things will get Real… really Real. After we Bale them over, we’ve got one game to win before we’re champions of the world.

Easier said than won eh?

S03E09: K-Gate

The second derby of the season has come and gone, and the Cove and the RBB were both fans of the team that didn’t win. Tomi Gun’s goal was cancelled out by a screamer from Ibini, and the Wanderers winless and undefeated streaks continue.

The club did, however, perform well at the AFC Awards night, winning Club and Coach of the Year. We lost in the spelling bee, but we hope to continue this winning form on the pitch against Brisbane and Adelaide this week.

This episode is brought to you by the Number 1 (in Asia), the number 10 (in the A-League), and the letter K.
