S04E05: Off The Marquee

The weather literally put a dampener on our day, but not on our spirits as one marquee fired us home. The other still needs some time to improve, but the Wanderers sit higher on the table than they have since season 2, and it’s the first time since our ACL victory a year ago that we’ve had something to celebrate.

Nanny State League

There has been much furore overnight over an article posted online from a certain media outlet regarding proposed police crack downs within the active area where the Red and Black Bloc (RBB) congregate at Parramatta Stadium on Western Sydney Wanderers’ home matches. S02E03: To the left, to the left

Football is, for once, the minor topic on this week’s podcast, as we are unfortunately forced to turn our attention to towards the over handed approach the authorities are taking towards Western Sydney’s football fans. Ivan interviews Chadi (a Defence Attorney), Danielle (whose relatives were victims of these tactics), and none other than Lyall Gorman, Wanderers CEO, to get their opinions on what is fast becoming the biggest issue we are facing when supporting our sport.

On a lighter note, we DO actually talk about football, with the 1-1 against Wellington last week, and the Derby D’Sydney coming up, and Nick Nova’s ‘Do You Even Dale?’ makes its debut.
