629 – Ce-hoodoo

Another trip to AAMI Park (albeit improved), wasn’t enough to get a much needed win against Melbourne Victory.

Some players who’ve been under the interrogation lamp showed us the better light, while others might as well have been found with their pants down.

It took the VAR way to long to tell us that Kosta Barbarouses was randomly selected for an extended Easter break, but Turner wastes no time in telling us what he did over the weekend whilst Tatiyana is ready to fight him.

Also included is the talk of new players and the managers potential length of stay, whether next to no opposing active fans is why the travelling numbers are low and does Turner eat Stalactites more than three times a day?

S05E07: Borda Insecurity

If you’re anything like us, your happiness rollercoastered from about 80% to 99% to 0% within about 45 minutes on Saturday night. A struggling defence couldn’t keep up with Victory’s competent attack and we were put on show. Of course we also look forward to playing Melbourne City this weekend, who have been quiet at best this season… haven’t they?

S04E26: March Mediocrity

The Wanderers were essentially crucified due to a mediocre performance against victory, and will need to rise again on Friday against mariners to have any chance of finishing in the top 2.

ATBFeedback confirmed our concerns and things will need to change in the last few weeks if the club is going to keep the fans happy.

S04E19: What about me? It isn’t flare!

A draw at the death against Victory was, quite literally, overshadowed by a smoke cloud which got a lot of people talking. Probably coughing too.

The squad has been made depleted for our upcoming game too, which made us wonder who would be in the starting XI this valentines day?

S03E21: Unhappy Meal

Well, you win some, you lose… most – We beat one Melbourne team and then, despite actually playing reasonably well, lost against the other one. We saw glimpses of the kind of play that can win games in style, but it could be too little too late for this season.

In positive news, the youth and fringe players got a run and they all did us proud. Our ATBFeedback responses echoed our calls for these guys to be used more and more, and we may just see that as we take on FC Seoul in South Korea this week, where we may have more of a chance at getting 3 points than you might think.
